The second period saw Rangers' domination finally rewarded as Antonio
German's twenty five yard belter ninety seconds after the break put the
visitors back in front before Romone Rose made sure of the result with
his second goal of the season fifteen minutes from time.
Despite the good scoreline it wasn't enough to make
us early group leaders, as Brighton saw off Swansea 4-1 and Plymouth
beat Luton 5-2 to take second and top spot ahead of Rangers in third.
However with six games remaining in the group stage
there is still all to play for and next Saturday we welcome Luton Town
to Harlington as this competition continues.
