THE RE-BUILDING BEGINS

Gary Waddock completed his first summer signings today as two international footballers signed up for The R’s.

Damion Stewart

First up was Damion Stewart, a twenty five year old Jamaican international centre half. Damion, or Stew Peas, as he is rather oddly known, has played over thirty times for the “Reggae Boyz” and has spent this season on loan at Bradford City where he made nineteen starts.

Then later this afternoon a second signing was announced as Cameroon international Armel Tchakounte also agreed to join the Super Hoops. Tchakounte is a twenty seven year old defensive midfielder and has spent time playing in Hong Kong and for Carshalton.

Stewart has signed a three year deal and will join on up on the 1st of June whilst Tchakounte has inked a one year deal with the option of a second year.

Welcome to Rangers chaps.
