Good Effort Undermined By Arseholes

Thanks to some of our more cerebrally challenged fans the good name of QPR has been dragged through the mud over the last twenty four hours leaving us with the very real possibility of having to shell out twenty five grand we can't afford in FA fines.

As we all know Rangers are playing under the threat of this fine, having had it suspended following coin throwing incidents during the Crewe and Bristol City games last season. I say we all know but it seems there was a handful of people inside the ground who didn’t know, didn’t understand or just didn’t care.

Despite the pleading of the club through every media possible someone thought it would be a good idea to throw an object onto the pitch during the game, exactly the offence the FA have already carpeted us for.

Well I hope they are proud of themselves. Maybe they don’t understand how little money this club has or maybe they would rather see tens of thousands of pounds of our money wasted rather than helping to reduce our crippling loan repayments.

The incident has been noted in the match report which means it is winging its way to Soho Square as we speak. There was a chance this may have been glossed over but thanks to the actions of an idiot on the opposite side of the ground there is little chance of this game escaping the authorities attention.

Ian Wright is no shrinking violet and I doubt he had a calming effect on the situation that arose after his sons goal, however there is no excuse for racial abuse in or indeed out of a football ground.

Thanks to this particular numpty we have been splashed all over the press as baying morons. Papers that wouldn’t normally give us a second glance are only too happy to paint us all as rabid morons and you can bet if the FA weren’t sitting up and taking notice before they are now.

We might get away with it. In fairness to David Davies he has acted swiftly and firmly over the incidents and, hopefully this will impress the authorities enough to give us yet another chance. However if they do decide to come down on us the punishments could have far reaching and devastating effects both financially and football wise.

So to the people who thought chucking stuff on the pitch wouldn’t matter and to the people who think it is acceptable to abuse someone based on the colour of their skin I ask you to think about this.

If we have to spend money we can ill afford because of this IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT.

If we have to play any games behind closed doors losing valuable revenue because of this IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT.

If losing money over this means missing a loan repayment IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT.

If we were to get points deducted because of this IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT.

Sleep well.
