How to play the predict-R-thon

Each month we ask you how many goals Rangers will score in the league that month, how many we will concede and how many points we will get. Get that all spot on and and you'll get a hefty points haul, come close and you'll pick up a few less! Here's the full details.

Just before the start of each month we will place a story on the main site asking for entries for the upcoming month. To enter all you have to do is study the coming month's fixtures and decide how many points QPR will get that month, how many goals we will score and how many we will concede.

Simply complete those predictions on our onsite form and include your name and you're done. Then, after the month is complete we will add up the scores and create a leader board, whoever is top of the leader board at the end of the season is the winner!

Here's how the point scoring works:

Prediction Type Your Prediction compared to what happens
Exactly Correct Within three Within five
No of Points 10 points 5 points 3 points
Goals Scored 10 points 5 points 3 points
Goals Conceded 10 points 5 points 3 points

So if you predict all three areas correctly you will get a full 30 points!

Now obviously fixtures get moved around sometimes so this is how we will deal with that issue.

If a fixture is postponed to outside the month you have predicted for, we won't collate that month's scores until that fixture is played and it will count as if it took place on its original date.

If a fixture is moved forward into a month that you have already predicted on (highly unlikely) then we will not count that game at all.

To enter keep an eye on the site, we will open for entries during the last week of each month, the more you play the better chance you have of winning the overall competition.
