Only four players received any votes and we have a clear cut winner, Gareth Ainsworth is your player of the season for 2005-06. Wild Thing wins with over sixty percent of the vote, leaving Lee Cook as this years runner up with nearly eighteen percent. Cookie was just ahead of Simon Royce in third and finally Marc Nygaard came in fourth place. |

Congratulations to Gareth who succeeds Paul Furlong as QPRnet.com player of the season. Look out for Skinner's Re-View later this month where Simon will look back over the performances that won Ainsworth this years award. |

| Goal of the SEASON | |||||||||||||
|
Six of the nine goals up for nomination received votes but the top two stormed away with it, taking nearly two thirds of all your votes. However the winner, with over thirty five percent, is Martin Rowlands' belter at Crewe on New Years Eve. Rowly's goal edges out Bircham's effort in the home match against Sheffield United whilst Lee Cook's fine strike away to Norwich came in third place. |

| Match of the SEASON | |||||||||||||||||
|
Finally the match of the season goes to
Gary Waddock's finest moment in charge to date. Back in February,
Rangers travelled to Bramall Lane in a game no one really thought we'd
win, but win we did in a topsy turvey affair.
Marc Nygaard gave us an early lead but The Blades stormed back to a 2-1 advantage by the time we reached the halfway mark. After the break however Rangers got a slice of luck through a Chris Morgan own goal to level things up before Paul Furlong snatched the win with fifteen minutes remaining. The home win against the same side came in second place overall with the 4-3 win at Crewe in December coming in third spot. |
